Good variety, slight delivery snag

I tried the high protein meal plan last week and generally, it was a good experience. The food tasted fresh, and the portions were decent for the price. I appreciated the variety in the meals too. My only minor issue was that one of the cold pressed juices in my box arrived a bit warm. It wasn't a huge deal, but something to perhaps improve. Overall, I'm satisfied and might try the vegan plan next.

Meals were pretty good

I just tried Amelia's Kitchen for the first time, got a couple of their lean meat dishes. They were actually pretty good! The packaging was nice too. It was easy to heat up. I'd probably order again if I'm feeling lazy and don't want to cook.

Great value on first order

As a first-time buyer, I was looking for the best deal and found a pretty good introductory offer. I got the weight loss meal plan, and it felt like a solid purchase for the price I paid. The meals were surprisingly good for 'diet' food, and the convenience factor is huge for someone like me trying to stick to a budget while eating healthy. Definitely felt worth it.

Always reliable, great food

I've ordered from Amelia's Kitchen several times now, and they've been consistently good. This last order, a family meal bundle, was just as fresh and tasty as my first. Delivery took 4 days to get to me in Los Angeles, which is pretty standard for them. I keep coming back because I know what to expect.

how easy is it to skip a week if something comes up? I travel for work sometimes and don't want to get stuck with meals I won't be home to eat.

M Melissa Jackson 1 month ago
Super easy. Just log into your account and you can skip or pause deliveries whenever you need to. I've done it a few times without any hassle.

Yeah, I've skipped weeks before. You just need to do it by a certain day before your next delivery, usually like a few days in advance. It's pretty straightforward on their website.

Thinking of signing up for Amelia's Kitchen, heard about some first box discount. Does anyone know if you can stack that with, say, a student discount? Trying to save as much as possible lol.

R Ryan Gomez 1 week ago
From what I remember, you can usually only use one discount at a time. So probably not stackable.

Nah, pretty sure most places, including Amelia's, only let you use one promo code per order. You'll probably have to choose between the first box deal or a student discount if you have one.

Hey guys, thinking of trying Amelia's Kitchen. Are their meals actually fresh or like, previously frozen and thawed out? Want to make sure I'm not getting something that's been sitting around.

K Karen R. 4 weeks ago
Nah, they're fresh. I've been getting them for a few months and they always arrive chilled, never frozen. You can tell they haven't been thawed.

Yeah, can confirm. They're definitely fresh. You just pop them in the fridge when they arrive and they last for several days. Heating instructions are for fresh meals, not frozen.

Does Amelia's Kitchen deliver everywhere? I'm in Manchester and trying to figure out if it's even an option before I get my hopes up about a meal plan.

O Olivia Gomez 1 week ago
Pretty sure they deliver across the UK. I'm in Glasgow and get my deliveries fine.

I'd double-check on their site but I'm in Leeds and never had an issue. They're a UK-based company so wide delivery makes sense.

Compared to something like HelloFresh, how does Amelia's Kitchen stack up? I'm looking for something healthy but also convenient, not a fan of all the chopping.

G Grace T. 2 weeks ago
Amelia's Kitchen is fully prepped meals, so no chopping at all, which is way more convenient than HelloFresh. HelloFresh is more like a recipe kit where you still cook. Amelia's is just heat and eat.

Yeah, huge difference. Amelia's is ready meals, like you just microwave or oven heat them. HelloFresh sends ingredients and recipes. If you want zero cooking, Amelia's is the one for sure.
